InReach Rehab is seeking a flexible full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Maple Heights Nursing & Rehab Center in Hiawatha, Kansas. This role offers the opportunity to provide both school-based and clinical speech services, helping patients of all ages strengthen communication, articulation, comprehension, and functional skills within a supportive rural healthcare environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality speech, language, and cognitive-communication evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Deliver direct therapy in school-based and clinical settings, using evidence-based techniques.
  • Educate and collaborate with patients, families, teachers, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Document evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Adjust treatment plans as needed to support patient progress.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current or eligibility for Kansas state SLP license.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in both school and healthcare settings.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing clinical growth.
