The Core Faculty Adjunct / Family Medicine Physician plays a vital role as both a clinical educator and practicing physician. This position is dedicated to teaching, mentoring, and supervising learners while delivering exceptional, patient-focused family medicine services. The individual in this role will contribute to the academic mission by engaging in curriculum implementation, overseeing residents and students, participating in scholarly activities, and aiding in program development, all while maintaining an active clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive family medicine services throughout the lifespan in both outpatient and inpatient environments as required.

• Offer evidence-based, patient-centered care that adheres to organizational and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical interactions in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment and diagnostic capabilities in Family Medicine.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EHR systems and educational technologies.

Teaching and Student Supervision

• Work alongside the Program Director to enhance the Core Family Medicine Curriculum and manage specific curriculum components.
• Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to residents and medical students.
• Supervise learners in clinical environments, offering direct observation, constructive feedback, and evaluations.
• Participate in the development, execution, and ongoing enhancement of the curriculum.
• Support compliance with accreditation standards (e.g., ACGME, LCME, or relevant guidelines).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
