REPORTS TO:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Diagnostic Center Supervisor
 
GENERAL SUMMARY:
CT Technologist uses computed tomography (X-Ray) equipment to take images of a patient’s body from different angles.&nbsp; The work of the CT Technologist helps locate internal injuries and diagnose diseases. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Prepare patients for exams by answering their questions and positioning the patient for minimal radiation exposure. &nbsp;</li>
<li>Select the appropriate program for desired testing results</li>
<li>Perform CT equipment warm-ups and calibrations as required.</li>
<li>Collect patient data as required to perform the test as directed.</li>
<li>Sterilize and clean the CT equipment according to established standards of care and infection control.</li>
<li>Responsible for making sure all equipment is safe for use and free of any unhealthy bacteria.</li>
<li>Manage professionalism in working with patients and demonstrate understanding of patient concerns.</li>
<li>May be required to prepare patient test results and data for physician accordingly.</li>
