Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support import and domestic purchasing operations within the SCM team. This role manages purchase orders, vendor coordination, invoice verification, and inventory tracking while working closely with warehouse, production, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Issue and manage purchase orders (POs) for import and domestic sourcing
- Coordinate end-to-end purchasing operations, including vendors, freight forwarders, brokers, and trucking partners
- Track orders, inventory levels, and deliveries to prevent shortages or overstock
- Verify vendor invoices against quantities and pricing
- Support receiving, inventory tracking, and monthly physical inventory counts
- Identify and onboard new vendors; monitor pricing trends and cost changes
- Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, production, marketing, R&D) to support supply flow
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of purchasing, SCM, or logistics experience (food industry preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Korean required
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, team-focused, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs; freezer-friendly work environment
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and basic systems
