Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide expert speech and language support to students in grades 9 through 12 during the 2025-2026 school year in an engaging K-12 educational setting located in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. This full-time itinerant role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on approximately 45 students with diverse communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to high school students (grades 9-12) within a supportive school environment
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and an existing internal Speech Language Pathologist to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Conduct assessments, track progress, and maintain accurate documentation of student caseloads
- Participate in school team meetings and contribute to positive student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with adolescent students in a school setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Position Details:
- Contract term: August 12th to May 22nd (2025-2026 school year)
- School hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Itinerant position focused on junior and high school students
