About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with experience in outpatient care. The role involves providing comprehensive care to women, including gynecological exams and preventive care. This is a full-time opportunity working on-site at one of our Eugene, OR locations. What will you do:
- Perform comprehensive assessments, physical exams, and health screenings for female patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic and reproductive health conditions.
- Provide contraceptive counseling and prescribe birth control methods.
- Conduct prenatal and postnatal care, including routine check-ups and education.
- Manage menopausal and hormonal concerns, offering treatment plans and support.
- Perform procedures such as IUD/Nexplanon insertions/removals, Pap smears, and colposcopies (if trained).
- Educate patients on sexual health, family planning, and disease prevention.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including ultrasounds, bloodwork, and screenings.
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, primary care providers, and specialists as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Requirements:
What do you need to bring to the role:
- Experience: Previous experience in women’s health, gynecology, and/or obstetrics required.
- Education: Education commensurate with state licensure requirements for a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Oregon with prescriptive privileges.
