Job Title: Dental Assistant (Evening Hours)
Schedule: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Evenings)
Location: Two office locations (must be willing to travel between both)
Additional Availability: Occasional Sundays preferred
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team for evening hours. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-specialty dental environment. This role also includes cross-training for light clerical duties such as scheduling and patient communication.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including implants, oral surgery, general dentistry, endodontics, cosmetic treatments, and hygiene services
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support front desk operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and confirming patient visits
- Travel between two office locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant required
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Willingness to be cross-trained in administrative/clerical tasks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work at multiple locations
- Availability for evening hours and occasional Sundays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience assisting with dental implants and oral surgery
- Familiarity with scheduling software and patient management systems
