KAHAK HEALTH CARE SERVICES is looking for a Medical Director for an advisory position in our Home Care Agency in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Full-Time and Part-Time)

Essential Job Duties.

Provides expert guidance on medical care, ensuring compliance, improving clinical documentation, and promoting quality of care within the agency's services.

• Communication and Collaboration.
• Staff Education and Training.
• Utilizing Review.

Advise on patient care plans, treatment options, and medical decision-making, ensuring appropriate and effective care delivery

Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided by the agency, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes

Ensure the home health agency adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards related to medical care, patient safety, and documentation.

Help improve clinical documentation processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and efficiency, which is vital for patient care and regulatory compliance.

Act as a liaison between the agency, physicians, patients, and caregivers, facilitating effective communication and coordination of care

Involved in educating and training home health staff on medical procedures, protocols, and best practices to ensure quality and safety

Participate in utilization review, which is the process of evaluating the necessity and appropriateness of medical services provided to patients.
