Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide psychological support and assessment services through telehealth to K-12 students in an Oakland, CA school setting. Responsibilities focus on evaluating students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs while collaborating virtually with educators and families to develop appropriate interventions and support plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations remotely
- Delivering counseling and crisis intervention via telehealth platforms
- Consulting with teachers and parents to create strategies that support student success
- Documenting assessment results and maintaining compliance with educational regulations
- Participating in virtual multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid credential or license as a School Psychologist in California
- Proven ability to perform telehealth services with children and adolescents
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational testing and interpretation
- Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration with students, families, and school personnel
- Familiarity with special education laws and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
