What You’ll Do:

  • Manage high-volume accounts payable, process invoices, and oversee vendor relationships.
  • Handle 1099 reporting and ensure compliance with multi-state sales tax requirements for CT, NY, and NJ.
  • Administer payroll for approximately 200 salaried and exempt employees, including overtime and multi-state payroll complexities.
  • Utilize Deltek and AIA Billing systems for accurate transaction and reporting management.
  • Play a vital role in driving the day-to-day financial operations that keep the business running smoothly.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a high-volume setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, vendor management, 1099 reporting, and multi-state sales tax compliance.
• Hands-on experience with payroll administration for large, multi-state teams.
• Familiarity with Deltek and other billing systems is highly preferred.
• Proficient in bank reconciliations and AIA billing processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
