Job Description
We are seeking skilled welders to join our dynamic welding team. Our facility specializes in the manufacturing and marketing of auto parts, including mufflers, silencers, exhaust tubes, thermal management tubing, and hydraulic and lubrication assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials for welding, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Experience working with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Capability to pass a MIG/TIG weld test.
- Possession of a welding helmet and gloves.
- Ability to work 50 hours per week.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with fabrication and grinding processes.
- Experience with welding machines and tools.
- Understanding of welding positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
