Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - PALS & TNCC preferred
- # of Beds- 16 - Nurse:Patient Ratios- 2: 1 - Common diagnoses/Types of patients- Medical ICU- sepsis, resp failure, stroke, MI - How many years’ experience required?- preferred 2 years - Previous travel experience required?- preferred - Experience or 'Must have' skills- ICU experience with experience in drips, vents, bipaps - Are RNs required to titrate drips? - Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips- vasopressors, sedation ( levo, neo, cardene, precedex, propofol, etc) - Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift?- Yes - Does the charge nurse take an assignment?- Yes - Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?- No nurse aids
