Job Description
Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Planning Analyst (Food & Ag)
Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN (Hybrid – 3 days in-office)
Sector: Global Agribusiness & Energy
Compensation: Competitive Base + Bonus + Comprehensive Pension & Benefits
The Opportunity:
We are representing a world-class, multi-billion-dollar global agribusiness that serves as a vital link in the world’s food and energy supply chains. Our client is looking for a Senior Supply Planning Analyst to act as the strategic architect for their Oilseeds processing division.
This is a high-impact role designed for a "data storyteller"—someone who can take complex operational datasets and translate them into a unified "One Number" strategic plan. You will be instrumental in the S&OP process, bridging the gap between national logistics, terminal operations, and commercial trading teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategic S&OP Leadership: Lead the monthly supply planning cycle for a primary processing network, overseeing capacity modeling, master production scheduling (MPS), and distribution forecasting.
- Advanced Modeling: Build and manage sophisticated 24-month rolling plans utilizing SAP IBP and other scenario-modeling tools to guide commercial decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central point of contact for Finance, Transportation, and Trading to ensure supply plans are realistic, actionable, and aligned with market shifts.
- Process Innovation: Leverage AI, RPA (Power Automate), and data visualization (Power BI) to automate manual workflows and enhance the accuracy of supply chain insights.
- Business Intelligence: Translate asset capabilities and logistical constraints into financial risk/opportunity assessments for executive leadership.
- Network Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities through "cost-to-serve" analysis and provide data-backed recommendations for future capital investments.
Required Qualifications:
- Background: 4+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, or Demand Management.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Economics, or Ops Management is highly preferred.
- Technical Stack: Advanced Excel proficiency is a must. Hands-on experience with modern ERP/Planning software (SAP IBP, PPDS, or similar) is strongly preferred.
- Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to manipulate complex datasets and build dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) that drive business decisions.
- Communication: Exceptional "soft skills" with the ability to lead discussions in a matrixed environment and influence stakeholders across different business units.
Why Join This Organization?
This isn't just a corporate job; it’s a chance to work for a member-owned organization that directly impacts the global food supply. They offer a rare "Total Rewards" package that includes not only a competitive 401(k) but also a traditional pension plan, profit sharing, and comprehensive wellness benefits.
Our client is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
