Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical experience at a healthcare facility in Lakewood, NM. This role offers an engaging day shift schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., with floating assignments and on-call responsibilities. The assignment duration is approximately 13 weeks, commencing as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.
- Manage patient documentation according to facility standards.
- Participate in floating to different units and be available for on-call duties.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required.
- PALS certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and flexible with floating and call duties.
