Job Summary
Strategic Therapy Autism Services is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst in the Lawrenceville, NJ area for immediate hire.
Strategic Therapy is a Behavioral Health Agency providing home-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services throughout New Jersey, and in clinic in our Lawrenceville, NJ center. We are looking for an experienced and professional BCBA to provide initial and ongoing training to our center RBTs and BCBAs.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for new staff training for both BCBA and RBT positions
- Provide training to BCBAs on evidence-based program design and high-quality supervision strategies
- Support initial and ongoing RBT competency evaluations for new and existing RBTs
- Support 3-4 case supervisors as they grow their clinical and decision making skills
- Develop and deliver monthly training to center staff
- Build trainees skill sets in ABA strategies, including joint activity routines, responding to challenging behavior, data collection/documentation, and evidence based teaching strategies
- Completes monthly Fidelity Checks for RBTs
- Communicates with BCBAs what is needed from them to ensure adherence to supervision requirements
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director regarding BCBA and RBT performance and needed performance improvement initiatives
Job Requirements
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Minimum of 23 years of experience providing ABA services, including program development and supervision of RBTs/BCaBAs
- High attention to detail and ability to interpret learner data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience training, mentoring, or supervising clinical staff
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, skill acquisition programming, and behavior reduction strategies
- Experience developing individualized treatment plans and conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Proficiency in delivering performance feedback and implementing effective supervision practices in accordance with BACB guidelines
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to design and deliver trainings in both individual and group settings
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple trainees and priorities
- Familiarity with electronic data collection systems (Central Reach Preferred)
