Job DescriptionShipping and Receiving Forklift OperatorLocation: Denver, CO (Lakewood)Pay: $22-$26 per hour
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. This role is responsible for accurate receiving, documentation, inventory movement, and preparing outgoing shipments. Ideal candidates bring strong Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience, solid warehouse skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect parts, and verify materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Enter received items into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with accurate part numbers, lot/batch details, and quantities.
- Package, label, and prepare outgoing shipments to meet customer and internal quality standards.
- Create and manage shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and export paperwork.
- Coordinate pick-ups with freight carriers.
- Maintain organized inventory locations for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Support cycle counting and reconciliation through the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Ensure lot/batch traceability and maintain accurate records per aerospace quality standards.
- Support internal/external audits through proper documentation.
- Operate forklifts or pallet jacks (training/certification provided or required).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (6S, Lean, safety).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
Key Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience is required.
- Warehouse, shipping & receiving, or material handling experience is required.
- Forklift experience (stand up, sit-down, reach truck)
- Shipping documentation experience required (packaging list, bill of lading, export paperwork)
- Experience with USPS, FedEx, UPS, and UPS World Ship.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office + ERP/inventory systems).
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work on your feet in a warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality standards.
- Knowledge of lot/batch traceability.
- Regular ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
