Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for the Lathe Department to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components..
Responsibilities:
- Develop and write CNC programs using Cam softwares
- Set up and operate CNC machines including milling machines, stamping presses, and other equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within specified tolerances
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize machining processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production
Skills:
- Proficiency in basic math skills including geometry, algebra, and trigonometry
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
