TIG Welder
Pay: $21.00–$24.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (5:30 AM – 2:00 PM)
Must be open to mandatory overtime and weekend work (including Saturdays)
10–12 hour workdays may be required based on production needs
Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is seeking experienced TIG Welders for a manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ. This company specializes in custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, offering long-term stability and growth for candidates who are reliable and committed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and steel components
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Assemble and fabricate parts with precision and accuracy
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and production standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily goals
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and steel
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately (including fractions)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable and able to handle a fast-paced production environment
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
Client Interview & Test Requirements:
During the interview process, candidates should be prepared to complete:
Weld Test – to evaluate TIG welding skills and technique
Tape Measure Test – to assess ability to read measurements and fractions accurately
Candidates must be comfortable completing both assessments onsite
