<p> premier client that is searching for talented Accountant I or Accountant II professionals to join their team in the San Antonio, TX area. Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Research, analyze and document explanations for variances in general ledger accounts</li>
<li>Reconcile general ledgers and ensure outages are rectified promptly</li>
<li>Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger according to GAAP, maintaining complex Excel spreadsheets for supporting documentation</li>
<li>Communicate productively and professionally with employees and vendors to resolve issues and answer general ledger related questions</li>

<p>Requirements
</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in business, related field such as Accounting, Finance, or related degree</li>
<li>Relevant coursework in accounting and financial reporting</li>
<li>Accountant I: 1+ years of experience</li>
<li>Accountant II: 3-5 years of experience</li>
<li>Experience managing multiple tasks on tight deadlines</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically comfortable in Microsoft Excel</li>
