SAJE Strategic Solutions is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Regional Medical Records Director to lead medical records operations across a network of nine skilled nursing facilities in the Los Angeles area. This leadership role is essential for maintaining accurate, secure, and efficient health information systems while ensuring full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

In this position, you will oversee and support the medical records departments at all nine facilities, serving as a mentor to facility-level staff and ensuring that HIPAA and other regulatory requirements are strictly met. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine audits for record accuracy and timeliness, developing standardized management policies, and managing electronic health record (EHR) systems and workflows. You will also collaborate closely with facility administrators and clinical teams to ensure proper documentation practices and provide vital support during state and federal surveys.

The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of experience in medical records management, specifically within skilled nursing or long-term care environments. Previous experience in a regional or multi-site oversight role is strongly preferred, as is a deep understanding of healthcare compliance and EHR systems. While not required, an RHIT or RHIA certification is also preferred. Because this role involves supporting a network of locations, the ability to travel between facilities throughout the Los Angeles area is required.
