Medical Biller

Position Overview
M Force Partners is seeking a Medical Biller to support billing and revenue cycle operations for a healthcare organization in Knoxville, TN. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate charge entry, timely claim submission, and effective follow-up with payers to support consistent reimbursement and financial performance.
The ideal candidate has experience working with medical billing systems, understands insurance processes, and is comfortable managing multiple accounts while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit medical claims to commercial insurance carriers, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Ensure accurate charge entry, coding validation, and billing documentation
- Monitor claim status and follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and payment issues
- Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts as needed
- Verify insurance coverage and billing requirements prior to claim submission
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim-related questions
- Maintain compliance with billing regulations, payer guidelines, and internal procedures
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure billing accuracy
- Maintain organized billing records and support reporting as required
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle operations
- Working knowledge of insurance claims processing and reimbursement workflows
- Familiarity with medical billing systems or EMR/EHR platforms
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
