Drivers who prefer a more predictable routine often do well in this position because freight stays active and schedules remain organized. Loads move through established Southwest lanes and connected regional markets, allowing drivers to stay productive without constant route changes or extended downtime between trips.
Home Time & Schedule
This fleet is built around weekly home time with a full 48-hour reset. Dispatch works to keep drivers on a regular rhythm so personal time can be planned more easily. Loads are commonly arranged ahead of time, helping drivers transition from one trip to the next without unnecessary delays.
Freight Network
Dry van freight moves through repeat lanes across New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and surrounding connected markets. Most loads are drop-and-hook, which helps reduce time spent at customer locations and keeps wheels turning. Weekly mileage commonly reaches 2,800–3,000 depending on freight flow and routing.
Equipment Assigned
Drivers operate late-model International tractors generally around 2–3 years old. Trucks are maintained on a regular preventive service schedule to reduce downtime. Equipment is assigned to this fleet and set up for regional dry van operations.
Weekly Earnings
Most drivers in this position earn between $1,650 and $1,850 depending on miles and workload. Drivers also receive 16¢ per mile non-taxable per diem, helping increase take-home pay. Additional earning opportunities may include fuel efficiency bonuses, clean inspection bonuses, and quarterly performance incentives.
