Sean P. Cooney, DMD, LLC is looking for an experienced person to join our dental team as a dental assistant and front desk leader. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to for excellent pay and a great work/home life balance.
This position is for 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday), 12 hours each day.
Our ideal candidate for the Dental Assistant/Front Desk Position will have experience performing clinical duties such as:
- Assisting the doctor chairside for all procedures (root canals, oral surgery, fillings, crowns, etc.)
- Exposing radiographs
- Sterilization and instrument processing to the *highest* standards
- Intra-oral scanning as well as traditional impressions taking
This position will also require someone who can:
- Discuss treatment plan finances with patients
- Check insurance benefits
- Provide a friendly presence when answering phone calls
- Collect payments and pre-payments for service.
Ideally, we would like someone who can step in a take charge of this position right away. However, we are willing to train the right candidate to do all of these things provided that this candidate has some dental or medical front desk experience.
