Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2D AutoCAD Technician for aquatic facilities, including pools, spas, water features, and mechanical systems to join our growing team. This role focuses on producing high-quality technical drawings and supporting our designers and project managers in bringing luxury pool concepts to life.

Local candidates only — applicants must currently reside in the Miami area and be available for in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for custom pool designs and outdoor structures
  • Translate conceptual designs into technical construction documents
  • Revise drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and engineering requirements
  • Collaborate closely with designers, architects, and project managers
  • Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance with local codes, and adherence to company standards

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); experience with SketchUp, Rhino, or Revit is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in CAD drafting (architecture, landscape, or pool design preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise technical drawings
  • Understanding of construction documentation and basic engineering principles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in luxury residential design or outdoor living projects
  • Familiarity with South Florida building codes and permitting processes
  • Knowledge of pool systems, grading, or hardscape design
