Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Sacramento, CA working in an outpatient occupational medicine setting focused on workers’ compensation and long-term chronic pain management. The contract PT will be responsible for general PT duties in a full medical office environment with providers, a program manager, medical assistants, and physicians on site. Minimum Requirements
\n
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience or comfort working independently as the only on-site PT.
- Experience or interest in occupational medicine/workers’ compensation or treating long-term chronic pain preferred.
- Ability to work in a full medical office with interdisciplinary team members on site.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in occupational medicine or workers’ compensation cases.
- Experience managing chronic pain programs.
- Familiarity with documentation and workflows in a medical office setting.

Assignment Details
\n
- Shift hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Workdays: Monday through Friday.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide outpatient physical therapy services to patients with work-related injuries and chronic pain. Collaborate with onsite medical providers, program managers, and medical assistants to deliver coordinated care. Maintain documentation and participate in interdisciplinary planning to support return-to-work goals and long-term function.
