Job Summary:
As a Bartender, you will be the face of our bar, crafting high-quality drinks, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall guest experience. You’ll be responsible for preparing beverages, managing bar inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional way to ensure an exceptional bar experience
- Take beverage and food orders from customers and servers, and deliver them accurately
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, specialty drinks, and promotions
- Ensure proper alcohol service in compliance with local laws and company policies
- Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized at all times
- Handle cash and card transactions responsibly using the POS system
- Check identification to verify customers are of legal drinking age
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including restocking and cleaning
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proven bartending experience in a busy restaurant or bar setting
- Knowledge of drink recipes, bar equipment, and mixology techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Current Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
