Job Description
We are partnering with a well-established and growing organization seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join their team. This role will play a key part in managing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process and review multi-state payroll for a mid-to-large employee population
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll execution, including earnings, deductions, and taxes
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Reconcile payroll data, general ledger accounts, and related reports
- Partner with HR and Finance on employee changes, benefits, and reporting needs
- Support payroll audits and year-end processes (W-2s, filings, etc.)
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Assist with payroll system enhancements and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- 4–7+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state environment
- Strong understanding of payroll tax compliance and reporting
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, or similar
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to operate independently in a deadline-driven environment
