Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role involves working full-time with children aged 0-8 in inclusive classroom settings and itinerant positions across multiple schools. The position requires a strong commitment to fostering growth and development in early childhood special education within a dynamic school environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification with Early Childhood Special Education (0-8) endorsement.
- Experience ranges welcomed, from entry-level (0-2 years) up to seasoned professionals with 10+ years.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within co-teaching classrooms and itinerant service models.
- Passion for early childhood development and special education best practices.
Location and Assignment Details:
- Position available in various schools within the Denver region.
- Full-time roles (35+ hours per week).
- Assignments include: full-time ECSE at Coronado Hills Elementary and Thunder Vista P-8, both in co-teaching environments, and a full-time itinerant position at Cherry Drive and Woodlen schools.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized education and support services for young children with special needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to implement effective instructional strategies.
- Monitor and document student progress, communicating regularly with families and support teams.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learner needs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
