The Buckhead Life Restaurant Group has an opening for the Executive Sous Chef position at the nationally recognized City Fish Market. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day kitchen operations as well as the development of its culinary hourly staff. Under the direction of Mike Mercado, this candidate will serve as the leader of the operation with the responsibility to uphold the quality and consistency our guests have come to expect.
Candidate's qualities should include the following:
*Experience and passion for providing the highest quality product to our guests
*Experience with seafood and classic American fare
*Have a high level interest in fine dining cuisine
*The ability to handle some administrative duties as it relates to ordering, inventories, etc.
*Cool under pressure.
*The ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities for him or herself as well as the team of sous chefs.
*Great communication skills
*Ability to analyze issues and set a path of change in order to improve the overall guest experience
City Fish Market offers a wide selection of expertly-prepared, fresh fish and seafood, accompanied by a nautical ambiance next to a lake in Boca Raton, Florida. Our menus have a great variety of dishes from seafood classics such as Fish & Chips, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, to a wide selection of fresh catch prepared to guests taste!
