Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Leominster, MA, requiring a permanent MA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) setting across two campuses, with floating required between the Leominster and Clinton locations
- ED includes a dedicated psych holding area, requiring a well-rounded skill set
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- 48-hour shifts will be accepted
- Scheduling is based on unit needs — block schedules cannot be accommodated
- Must have flexibility to start up to 4 hours before or after scheduled shift start time based on critical department need
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Charting is done in Epic
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Permanent MA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
- Must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for this travel position
- Two professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or above
- Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Orientation includes pass/fail testing for telemetry/EKG and medication
- July RTO requests will not be approved for more than 1–2 days
