Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Dispatcher to support our flight school operations and provide day-to-day guidance for other team members. This role involves dispatching and scheduling flights, monitoring aircraft safety, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and dedicated to providing excellent service, and must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.


Reports to: Flight Operations Coordinator


Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Providing daily guidance and coaching to team members while serving as a role model
  • Dispatching flights and checking students in/out of lessons.
  • Re-scheduling flights due to maintenance, weather, and other factors.
  • Ensuring daily operations comply with Kilo Charlie procedures.
  • Assisting with scheduling basic maintenance events.
  • Overseeing fleet safety, including coordinating with others for aircraft handling and ensuring aircraft are secured nightly.
  • Billing flight reservations accurately and on time.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of facilities.
  • Willing to assist with additional tasks as needed.

  • Effective problem-solving abilities to handle flight scheduling changes and customer concerns.
  • Attention to detail to accurately process billing and dispatch procedures.
  • Time management skills to ensure on-time departures and arrivals.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in the aviation field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using relevant software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely operate towing equipment, as well as manually tow and tie down aircraft.
  • Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Mobility to move throughout the lobby area and assist customers.
