Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Dispatcher to support our flight school operations and provide day-to-day guidance for other team members. This role involves dispatching and scheduling flights, monitoring aircraft safety, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and dedicated to providing excellent service, and must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Reports to: Flight Operations Coordinator
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Providing daily guidance and coaching to team members while serving as a role model
- Dispatching flights and checking students in/out of lessons.
- Re-scheduling flights due to maintenance, weather, and other factors.
- Ensuring daily operations comply with Kilo Charlie procedures.
- Assisting with scheduling basic maintenance events.
- Overseeing fleet safety, including coordinating with others for aircraft handling and ensuring aircraft are secured nightly.
- Billing flight reservations accurately and on time.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of facilities.
- Willing to assist with additional tasks as needed.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the aviation field is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using relevant software.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate towing equipment, as well as manually tow and tie down aircraft.
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Mobility to move throughout the lobby area and assist customers.
