Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT (R) and BLS to provide high-quality vascular interventional imaging in a hospital setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital-based vascular interventional radiology department
  • Serve adolescent and adult patient populations
  • Primarily weekday shifts from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
  • Rotating on-call responsibilities for evenings and weekends are required
  • Uses a variety of radiology equipment and technologies in both radiology and operating room environments
  • EMR system used is Epic
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiology and operating room procedures
  • Follow strict safety guidelines for patients and staff
  • Respond flexibly to different work locations, shifts, and on-call demands including holidays and weekends
  • Maintain effective communication and support a collaborative team environment
  • First-time travelers are not specified; returning travelers may be limited to one-year assignments with a 30-60 day required break before returning

\n \n Requirements\n

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification before start date
  • Current ARRT (R) certification required
  • ARRT VI required within 18 months of start date
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in vascular interventional radiology or 3 total completed travel assignments
  • Experience working in a sterile environment and with aseptic technique preferred
  • COVID vaccination and booster required
  • Active license required; License required if applicable
  • Experience with Epic charting preferred
