Our client is a prominent global provider of legal services. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Talent Acquisition Assistant who will play a critical role in supporting recruitment operations within the client's New York office. This position involves close collaboration with both the local team and the broader Talent Acquisition function across the law firm. The role is vital to maintaining a structured, engaging, and efficient hiring process—from candidate outreach through onboarding—while actively contributing to impactful recruiting projects and events.


Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • At least 1+ year of experience in an office or law firm environment preferred.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities with precision in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships with attorneys and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with viDesktop talent management software and Silkroad onboarding tool is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and continuously improve processes and outcomes.


Sample Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records in talent management system, track candidate progress, and organize materials to support hiring decisions.
  • Support candidate engagement efforts, including campus recruiting, events, and targeted outreach initiatives.
  • Assist with offer processes, draft communications, coordinate receptions, and support onboarding.
  • Help plan, organize, and staff recruiting and summer associate events, managing logistics, attendance tracking, and materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide assistance to contractors, monitor RSVP responses, design surveys, and produce comprehensive reports for analytical and audit purposes.
  • Handle expense reporting, support ad hoc projects, and identify opportunities to streamline processes using automation and AI tools.
