Position Overview
As an SLP, you will play a vital role in supporting students whose communication abilities have been affected by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and implementing tailored education and treatment plans for students.
- Managing specialized materials, equipment, and environments necessary for effective speech and language programs.
- Providing communication interventions for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders across various settings.
- Assessing the speech and language skills of students suspected of having communication disorders and collaborating with teachers to develop IEP goals and objectives.
- Offering resources, modeling strategies, and training to fellow team members on communication interventions.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Current licensure from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with children with diverse disabilities and needs.
- Access to reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
