The Referral Specialist provides essential administrative and patient support to our clinical and community programs. This team member is often the first point of contact for our patients—playing a critical role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and seamless experience.

???? Key ResponsibilitiesPatient & Client Support
- Serve as the receptionist—warmly greet patients, distribute forms, and support a positive patient experience.
- Handle inbound/outbound calls, provide accurate information, and direct individuals to the right services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and community members.
Registration & Scheduling
- Register patients by collecting and verifying demographic, insurance, financial, and eligibility information.
- Schedule both new and follow-up appointments.
- Prepare, maintain, and file patient health records following program and service standards.
Administrative Operations
- Maintain patient flow during clinic sessions.
- Enter, store, and retrieve information using electronic systems; assist with routine reporting and data entry.
- Manage office supply inventory and ensure materials are stocked and organized.
- Collect service fees, process payments, and complete daily reconciliation.
- Participate in community outreach activities representing the organization.
- Perform additional tasks to support department needs.
- May require occasional evenings or weekends.
???? Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No previous experience required—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Background Check: Required.
- Certificates/Licenses: Not required.
- Bilingual candidates encouraged! If the role requires bilingual ability, the incumbent must be able to communicate effectively in the specified non‑English language with patients and staff.
