Job DescriptionEmergency Management Administrative SpecialistAlbany, NYFusco Personnel is actively recruiting for an Emergency Management Administrative Specialist to join a well-known organization in the Capital Region area. The ideal candidate will have prior emergency management experience or someone that is willing to learn. This is a full-time, long-term contract opportunity. • Support various unit projects through the development, maintenance, or revision of emergency management, hazard mitigation, emergency operations, and/or resiliency plans
• Coordination with internal and external partners
• Routine coordination, collaboration, and facilitation of planning processes and meetings from concept development through plan implementation
• Development of emergency management procedures, checklists, job aids, and operational plans for preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation activities of the Emergency Management program
• Conduct research to prepare, develop, and maintain emergency management plans and procedures
• Maintain a big picture view of all Unit activities, while also supporting day-to-day tasks, ensuring proper support and resources are provided to meet all deadlines
• Collaborate with units to annually review all major planning documents, identify gaps, and catalog annual planning priorities
• Work on special projects and other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Bachelor’s degree
• Eligible to work in New York State

Salary

• $25.00/ hour +/- based on experience
