Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Two Occupational Therapist positions are available to provide school-based therapy services in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, serving students with disabilities in special education settings. These are contract roles with an anticipated schedule of 35 hours per week, following the school calendar through mid-June 2026.

Locations:

  • One OT position in Carbon County
  • One OT position in Lehigh County

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering occupational therapy to support students functional, motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation
  • Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations governing special education
  • Documenting services accurately using electronic systems

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license (required)
  • Experience working with students in special education environments
  • Proven ability participating in IEP processes
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in electronic documentation and basic technology such as Microsoft Office

This role requires candidates to present proof of active Pennsylvania OT licensure with their application and undergo an in-person interview process.
