Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Planner (Hanger Environment)
Job Description
As an Aircraft Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for researching and administering special programs, such as warranty and Smart Parts, while ensuring customer requirements are met to their satisfaction. You will assist in creating project flow charts and management tools to support aircraft visits and determine resource availability, coordinating with providers to address any potential impacts on the Master Schedule.
Responsibilities
- Create aircraft work packages efficiently, identifying material, tooling, and manpower requirements before scheduled induction.
- Attend customer debrief or pre-induction meetings prior to aircraft arrival as necessary.
- Input data into required systems accurately and maintain development of aircraft model-specific technical information.
- Communicate and coordinate with departments like Maintenance, Material Support, Labs, Vendors, and Line Service to gather work package data for invoicing.
Essential Skills
- Experience in aircraft maintenance planning, supply chain, and schedule planning.
- Proficiency with project tracking, production scheduling, and maintenance analysis.
- Familiarity with SAP and other relevant software applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
- Proficient in computer skills for operating word processing, spreadsheets, databases, project management, email, and web-based applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with coworkers, customers, management, and contractors.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills to prioritize workloads in a dynamic, multi-project environment.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong analytical skills for risk assessment and decision-making.
- Previous experience with proposal writing and/or invoice analysis is preferred.

Work Environment
Work Monday through Friday, first shift from 8 AM to 4 PM, in a setting that values efficiency and team collaboration.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Opa-locka, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
