Our client, an outpatient imaging provider offering comprehensive diagnostic and interventional services, is seeking a full-time Breast Biopsy Technologist. This role supports specialized breast imaging procedures and works closely with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care throughout the biopsy process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for breast biopsy procedures, including pre- and post-procedure care
- Assist radiologists with stereotactic, tomosynthesis, ultrasound-guided, and MRI-guided breast biopsies
- Perform and support pre-biopsy imaging workflows
- Maintain accurate and complete procedural documentation in coordination with clinical staff
- Ensure compliance with ACR accreditation and MQSA regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (M) Mammography certification required
- Prior breast biopsy experience required
- Breast Sonography certification (ARRT or ARDMS) required within one year of hire
- Knowledge of ACR accreditation standards and MQSA regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to complete additional training in Nuclear Medicine (training provided post-hire)
Compensation & Work Model
- Hourly Pay: $45–$65 per hour
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
- Work Model: Onsite, full-time position in an outpatient imaging setting
