Medication Technician
Full Time or Part Time | Days, Evenings or Nights
**$1500 Sign on Bonus for Full time and $750 Sign on Bonus for Part Time**
Pay rate between $23 - $27/hour (based on experience & including shift differentials)

What will I do as a Medication Technician?
- Provides personal care services such as bathing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, etc. for residents according to the resident's assessment and service plan.
- Answers call accordingly and within policy of six minutes
- Assists residents with housekeeping and laundry services.
- Accompanies residents on outings to medical appointments
- Assists residents with activities,
- Demonstrates awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of residents and their families
- Completes documentation of resident service logs
- Communicates residents concerns and needs to Resident Care Coordinator, Wellness Nurse, and / or Wellness Director
- Administer medications per company policy and state regulation
- Perform daily audit of assigned residents to ensure necessary supplies are available. Notify WD, RCC, or next shift if supplies are on order.
What is required in this position?
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid and current CNA certification or completed on-line care giving training
- Must complete Department Approved Medication Administration Course and Diabetic Training
- Must complete annual recertifications
- Must complete annual training as required by current regulations
- Must maintain First Aid and CPR certification
- Must have excellent communications skills
