We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join our Flight Solutions Group team. This role is responsible for supporting the sales/procurement/repair/teardown processes, including customer returns, inquiries, exchanges, drop shipments, non-conforming products, and teardowns. Reporting to the Manager of Customer Support and Programs, the ideal candidate in this role should enjoy working with culturally diverse customers based in different locations around the globe; be ready to work flexible hours; communicate effectively on all levels of organization; be structured and able to successfully coordinate several projects simultaneously with a good eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage customer returns and reporting
- Manage the sales exchange process to include core follow-up, customer approvals when required and billing
- Monitor drop ships and assist if tasks overdue
- Monitor and clear non-conforming product for procurement and repairs.
- Assist with teardowns to include reconciliations, invoice approvals and payment
- Create supplier/vendor performance and warranty management metrics
Requirements:
- 3 years customer service experience preferably in aviation or other relevant field
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be organized and have excellent communications skills (oral & written)
Previous experience in project management - Customer focused mindset and a service attitude
