We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Flemington, New Jersey. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial recordkeeping and accounting. The role involves managing essential bookkeeping tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions and general ledger updates.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure account balances align with financial records.
• Utilize QuickBooks software for financial reporting and data management.
• Prepare detailed financial reports to support decision-making processes.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial documents or transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Familiarity with performing accurate bank reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
