Job Description:
The .NET Developer - CASE Access Team is responsible for supporting the sustainment and modernization of the CASE Access applications. This is a hands-on technical role focused on developing secure, maintainable code, contributing to documentation and testing, and implementing improvements to the .NET SDLC. The developer will work closely with other team members in an Agile environment to deliver reliable solutions that meet business and mission needs.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- This position requires working onsite in Alexandria, VA, 5 days per week
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
- At minimum 8 years' related work experience developing with .NET framework
- Self-starter, able to work well in a team environment.
- Skill and expertise in the .NET Framework and C#.
- Experience working with enterprise applications.
- Experience developing and managing APIs.
- Experience writing design documents.
- Experience writing and deploying unit tests.
- Works well in a challenging environment.
- Strong time and resource management skills.
- Works well within Agile project management methodology.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS markup and dynamic markup (jsp, asp, php).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with Azure Dev Ops
Responsibilities
The .NET Developer - CASE Access Team will:
- Develop and maintain CASE Access applications using .NET framework and related technologies.
- Participate in hands-on development of APIs and back-end functionality.
- Review and update design documentation as needed.
- Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Support the production environment by troubleshooting and resolving application errors.
- Contribute to system performance analysis and improvement efforts.
- Use version control systems to manage software code.
- Follow Agile methodologies and adhere to SDLC standards.
- Identify and recommend system process improvements.
- Provide status updates on tasks and deliverables to project management
