Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Salisbury, NC, supporting students with diverse communicative needs. This contract role runs from ASAP through January 31, 2026, providing 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The caseload will typically consist of 40-45 students, with grades and specific work location to be determined.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with speech and language challenges including articulation, language, voice, and fluency deficits.
  • Collaborate with educational staff, families, and other professionals to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations to recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Manage Medicaid billing documentation for eligible students using designated systems.
  • Plan and deliver therapy services aligned with student needs and curricular goals.
  • Maintain records and comply with ethical, regulatory, and program standards.
  • Provide consultation and coordination with school personnel and support staff.
  • Use ECATS and related software for record keeping and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology License (G License) is mandatory.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
  • Experience with ECATS system required.
  • Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite in Salisbury, NC.
