Title: X-Ray Technologist (Radiology)
Location: Berlin, VT
Duration: 16 weeks (assignment may extend up to 32 weeks)
Shift: Day shift | 5x8s | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Primarily day shifts
Weekend and holiday rotation required
No block scheduling
Job Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Assist with OR cases, fluoroscopy, and C-arm procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and image quality
- Provide imaging services for patients across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics
- Support unit needs through floating within scope and weekend coverage when required
- Accurately document imaging studies using Epic Radiant EMR
- Send imaging studies to teleradiology services as required
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental protocols
Required Skills, Certifications & Experience
- ARRT certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical X-ray experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in X-ray specialty
- Teaching facility experience required
- OR case, Fluoroscopy, and C-Arm experience required
- Epic experience within the past 2 years – nonnegotiable
- Prior travel experience required (no first-time travelers)
- Ability to float within scope and support weekend coverage as needed
- All prior work history must be fully documented, including:
- Facility type
- Bed count
- EMR used
- All employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained
Equipment & Systems Experience
- Imaging equipment: Philips, Canon, Carestream
- Philips portable X-ray units
- OEC C-Arms (9800, Elite large and mini)
- PACS: Philips iSite
- EHR: Epic Radiant
