UPK Lead Teacher – BrightPath Kids | Western New York
Pay: $19.00–$21.00/hr | Schedule: Monday–Friday, no evenings or weekends | Type: Full-Time, Part-Time
BrightPath Kids is hiring UPK Lead Teachers across Western NY locations to implement New York State Universal Pre-K curriculum and prepare children ages 3–4 for kindergarten success.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver UPK curriculum aligned to NYS and district standards
- Design developmentally appropriate lessons based on children's interests
- Maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment
- Partner with families and communicate regularly about child progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- NYS Birth–Grade 2 certification or Nursery Teacher certification — OR active plan of study toward certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must meet NY State criteria for childcare employment
