Role Description

This position is for a salesperson based in the assigned territory, who will report to the director or Vice President within that market. We are looking for someone who will seek out new business, someone who loves to sell products, provide solutions and has proven they can further develop an existing territory of business. This person will need to build and maintain meaningful relationships with vendor partners, our industry customers as well as be an integral part of the Lester Sales culture.


Requirements

  • Be effective at creating new, profitable opportunities and understanding the importance of finding new business
  • Be humble in their approach, yet relentless in their efforts to achieve their goals.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with vendor’s key personnel.
  • Collaborate with other Lester Salespeople in the territory to manage customer and vendor relationships, secure orders and cooperate with post-sales support to resolve issues.
  • Have the ability to absorb information around a vast number of products, services and applications.
  • Be willing and able to follow a proven sales process that may appear non-traditional.
  • Stay informed about competitive products and services.
  • Utilize technology to their advantage.


Qualifications

  • Must live in the territory for which you are applying - Evansville, IN or Western KY.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Five years of experience in a customer-facing sales role (business to business)
  • Good driving record, able to meet Lester Sales driving qualifications.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
