Compensation: $20 - $34 Per Hour (depending on the type of visit)

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2000 in additional bonuses!

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical in assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Provide basic life support when necessary and respond to patient emergencies.
  • Ensure patient comfort by providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintain aseptic techniques while performing tasks to prevent infection.
  • Document patient care accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in the transport of patients within the facility, including to diagnostic tests or procedures.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans effectively.
  • Support hospice care initiatives by providing compassionate end-of-life care when needed.
  • Uphold the standards of care expected in a Level II Trauma Center environment.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is an advantage.
  • Experience in urgent care or hospital medicine settings is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of patient service principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
  • Must be able to pass background checks as required by healthcare regulations.
