  • Pay Rate: $21.50 - $24.50/hour
  • Enjoy a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Shifts Available: 4 AM – 4 PM or 4 PM - 4 AM

What's a typical day as an Extrusion Machine Operator? You'll be:

  • Operating, troubleshooting, repairing and performing minor maintenance of the extrusion equipment that processes polypropylene pellets into log form.
  • Following safety guidelines and participating in safety-related activities.
  • Setting up, monitoring, and adjusting machines according to product specifications.
  • Inspecting materials and products for quality control.
  • Troubleshooting and performing minor repairs on equipment.
  • Keeping accurate records and communicating technical issues.
  • Assisting in training other operators.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Have 6 months of experience as a machine operator, maintenance technician, or related military experience; or an Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Have basic math and computer skills, including Excel.
  • Have good mechanical aptitude.
  • Have experience with quality inspection and lean manufacturing.
  • Are familiar with SAP and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) safety procedures.
  • Are able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Are willing to wear required personal protective equipment.
