Job DescriptionJob Title: Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient OrthopedicLocation: Jonesboro, GASchedule

  • 36 hours guaranteed per week (up to 40 hours expected)
  • Overtime requires prior approval
  • Productivity expectation: ~60 visits per week
  • Patient load: 12–14 patients per day (double-booking of follow-ups expected)

Job Summary

The Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Orthopedic provides rehabilitative care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. This role focuses on improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function through individualized treatment plans in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for orthopedic conditions
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, and function
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Clinical Duties

  • Manage a high patient volume in a fast-paced outpatient clinic
  • Perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient progress and outcomes

Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) (state-specific)
  • New graduates accepted
  • First-time travelers accepted

Preferred Qualifications

  • Outpatient orthopedic experience
